Petrol Company donates 100 bags of school material to SOS village children in Pristina - Telegrafi - Telegrafi

On the eve of the new school year, which is expected to start next week, Petrol Company today delighted the children of the SOS village in Pristina by donating 100 school bags along with school material.

Although 200 more bags are needed to fully meet the children's requirements, this action of the Petrol Company is said to be an example that should be followed by other companies.

Teuta Shala-Nazifi, manager at Petrol Company, said that in addition to the distribution of 100 school bags, another family will be visited today where bags will be donated to 16 other children.

But donating the bags is not the only joy for these 16 children, as the Petrol Company will soon start building a house for the same family.

"As you can see, we made these children happy beyond measure, and this was also our goal to make the children happy. We have all been children and we know what it is to be happy when someone buys us a beautiful bag, that's why the Petrol Company initiative was exactly that. I hope you have a good year, when something good starts it will definitely end well. We will not stop with such activities, we will continue even further, today we have a selection of another family that will become a home, we will definitely visit them today, they have 16 children and we will enjoy them with bags even those children. Our activities will not stop… we will definitely continue with these activities.. there were 100 bags that we brought here, a part is for the children who stay here while the rest goes to the families who will come to get the bags here, it means for those families that have more children", she said.

There are currently 50 children who live in the SOS village in Pristina, as well as 600 others who are supported outside this village.

The person in charge of collecting funds at SOS village, Albana Zogu Morina, thanked Petrol Company for today's donation, while adding that 200 more bags are needed to fully meet the needs.

She wished that the example of Petrol Company would be followed by other companies and thus help the children of SOS village.

"On behalf of SOS Children's Villages in Kosovo, we would like to thank Petrol Company for their commitment and dedication... this is not the first time that they have helped SOS Villages, every year we have a collaboration in the postcard campaign and this is just one initiative towards our support since we are an organization that depends mainly on donations...we as an organization have more than 50 children who live here and support close to 600 children who are at risk...currently we have received 100 bags from the Petrol Company, we thank the company very much but of course for we as an organization need about 200 more bags in order to meet the needs of all the children, so we also take the opportunity of the Petrol Company initiative to invite other companies to join the initiative," she said. .

This is not the first time that Petrol Company has helped the children of SOS village, but also those who are most in need by building houses and helping them with food packages.
